South Carolina’s school libraries
Monday - March 02, 2009
The library is a fixture that should be an integral part of a school’s operation and most of them offer tremendous opportunities for extension of learning. This week’s program features Martha Alewine of the State Department of Education staff who works with school libraries throughout the state and has some good news…and some not so good…for all stakeholders in education. We’ll also find out about an upcoming Read In at a midlands school district and learn what that entails, plus get an update on the upcoming Assistive Technology event held annually in Columbia and sponsored, in part, by the USC School of Medicine.
