Recertification and Professional Development for Teachers

This week we feature re-certification and professional development opportunities for teachers looking for growth in the area of financial literacy. Suzette Morganelli of the State Credit Union and Helen Meyers of the South Carolina Council on Economic Education reveal upcoming opportunities for teachers to expand their horizons in this important area, and Lucinda Jacobs of the Roper Mountain Science Center in Greenville previews the 2009 SCIENCE P.L.U.S. Institute for elementary and middle school science teachers. An added feature of this week’s program is Dr. Dave Reinking of Clemson’s Education faculty who will be heading up a Maymester experience in Italy for teacher education students in colleges and universities across the state.
