Financial literacy with John Gannon - Virtual reality in middle school

Literacy is the main topic for this week’s podcast which also includes a segment on using 3-D “virtual reality” experiences to encourage middle school students.
John Gannon, a frequent guest on CNBC’s On The Money has some timely information and a useful website in the important area of financial literacy and Suzette Morganelli with the State Credit Union has news about scholarships available for middle and high school students, their teachers and their schools.
The virtual reality segment is about a program partnership between Clemson and Appalachian State University. This program is aimed at encouraging middle school students to pursue studies and careers in science, mathematics, technology and engineering.
