Coker’s New President, the SC State Lottery and a salute to Education Support Personnel
Monday - December 07, 2009
The 16th President of Coker College in Hartsville began his work there on July 1, 2009, and since that date many changes have occurred and more are in store for the students at that Pee Dee liberal arts institution. Dr. Robert Wyatt came to Coker from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and he will be detailing some of the changes for listeners to the podcast. On that same program, Paula Harper Bethea, the recently-named Executive Director of the South Carolina Education Lottery tells us how "Education Wins" when folks take part in the various games sponsored by the Commission. And we'll revisit American Education Week and speak with an National Education Association official about the important roles the over three million Education Support Personnel have in our nation's schools.
