Benjamin Dunlap: Keynote Address at the Technology, Entertainment, and Design Conference

Dr. Benjamin Dunlap, Wofford College President, delivered a keynote address to the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Conference in California and received a huge ovation from the notables in attendance. Part of his address is included in the February issue of Reader’s Digest and we’ll replay this address as a part of this week’s program. The address has been heard numerous times over the Internet and if you haven’t listened (and even if you have), you’ll want to hear “The Story of a Passionate Life,” Dr. Dunlap’s story about the life of the late Sandor Teszler.
Also featured on the program will be news from the South Carolina Geographic Alliance, housed at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Jerry Mitchell, the Alliance Director, previews the upcoming Geofest and describes opportunities available later in the year for teachers of geography
