Preparing for the return to School, $ for Financial Literacy Instruction and Upcoming SIC Activities

This week's podcast features conversations with folks in higher education, business and school support services. Dr. Amy Milsom, an Associate Professor of Education and School Counseling Coordinator at Clemson offers tips on why restoring a little extra structure toward the end of the free-wheeling summer is a good first step toward preparing young children for the abrupt return to school. Suzette Morganelli, Manager of Financial Counseling and Education with the State Credit Union offers middle and high school teachers a $25 gift card for honing their skills in teaching financial literacy. All teachers need to do is participate in the Credit Union's webinar. Also, Tom Hudson, Director of Program Services with SC-School Improvement Council discusses SIC activities that take place during the academic year to boost the effectiveness of local Council and SIC members.
