February 11th, 2014 Win Family 4-Pack of Tickets to EdVenture, South Carolina’s Children’s Museum

Must answer by 8am Wed. February 12th and include name and mailing address with entry. One entry per household and if more than one correct entry is submitted, a winner will be picked at random.

Today's Question: Name the South Carolina bootlegger who became the first criminal in the United States convicted for tax evasion.

This week's winner will receive a family four-pack of tickets for a big day of fun at EdVenture Children's Museum located in the heart of Columbia's Congaree Vista, the capitol city's historic arts and entertainment district.

Last Week's Answer: The University of South Carolina can boast that its Honors College is number one in the nation. The University of Texas is third and because some don't consider Texas a southern state, we also counted as correct the University of Georgia which came in fifth.

The University of South Carolina can boast that its Honors College is number one in the nation. Which southern college has the next best ranking in the same category?

This week's winner will receive four tickets to a Charleston Battery professional soccer match at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island, SC, including four passes to their Three Lions Pub.

After South Carolina, the next four states listed in the top five in the nation supporting fuel cell and hydrogen technology are California, Connecticut, New York, and Ohio.

Question for January 28th, 2014  Answer must be received within 24 hours (by 8am Wed., January 29th), one entry per household and you must include your street address:

Did you know that the US Department of Energy recently named South Carolina as one of the top five states in the nation supporting fuel cell and hydrogen technology? Name the other four.
