Col. Charles M. Duke, Jr.

 

Inducted into the South Carolina Hall Of Fame, Charles Duke, Jr. is one of only 12 people to ever walk on the moon, as part of the historic Apollo 16 mission in 1972.

The SC Hall of Fame was founded in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1973 to recognize and honor contemporary and past citizens who have made outstanding contributions to South Carolina's heritage, history and progress.
