Spartanburg Wins Plug-In City of the Year Award

When people think of electric vehicle readiness, states like California, Texas, and Oregon come to mind. But one state that is quietly surprising the nation is South Carolina. According to the Department of Energy’s alternative fuel locator, South Carolina ranks seventh in public charging station locations per capita.

Mike Switzer interviews James Poch, Executive Director of Plug In Carolina and he will be in Spartanburg tonight presenting the city with its 2012 Plug-In City Of The Year award.
