IT Summit Coming Soon to S.C.

Information technology (IT) is continuing to drive innovation and job creation across many sectors of our state's economy. More than 67,000 people in South Carolina are employed in a technology-related occupation at an average salary of $64,693, and our next guest says those numbers and their economic impact will only increase, if we can develop some strategies learned from a recent study that uncovered pockets of technology success already occurring in our state.
Mike Switzer interviews Matt Gardner, an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco, in the Graduate School of Business and a senior advisor to the Bay Area Council. He is an occasional contributor and special correspondent to the weekly radio program Biotech Nation, heard on NPR and elsewhere, and he will soon be in our sunny state as the keynote speaker at a statewide summit on IT.
