Health of S.C. Physician Workforce Improving but More Needed

A report released late last year by the South Carolina Office for Healthcare Workforce Analysis and Planning shows that although the training and growth of physician manpower in our state is improving, we still will experience doctor shortages over the next decade.
Mike Switzer interviews Lynn Bailey, a health care economist practicing in Columbia, S.C. Lynn Bailey is not associated with the Office for Healthcare Workforce, but was speaking today as an independent analyst.
