Economic Hope for Abandoned Buildings

South Carolina's Governor Nikki Haley recently signed the Abandoned Buildings Revitalization Act into law. The bill's sponsors say this new law offers developers incentives for redeveloping abandoned commercial spaces and will pump capital and jobs into areas of South Carolina that have been blighted by the Great Recession.
