Crowdfunding Regulations Now Issued

Almost a year ago, Congress passed a law to permit companies to contact a wider pool of potential investors to raise capital without having to engage in the expense of a full-blown public securities offering. Since then, many companies and investors have been waiting for the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue the rules necessary for them to take advantage of this change. On July 10, the SEC finally adopted these regulations.
