Columbia Chamber Wins With Community Development

Local Chambers of Commerce are often involved in community development, working to make the city or town an attractive place to be for both businesses and consumers. And as with most activites like this, a lot of planning is involved.
Mike Switzer interviews C. Grant Jackson, the person in charge of community development for the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce who was recently presented the City Center Partnership's Chairman's Award for his work developing a three-year strategic plan and a 10-year Business Improvement District (BID) Renewal Plan. www.columbiachamber.com
