ETV to Air Brand New “Yanni: Voices” Concert

Columbia, SC…On Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., ETV brings Yanni: Voices, a concert special featuring the critically acclaimed composer and pianist, in collaboration with renowned producer Ric Wake, and four of the most exciting new vocalists in the world, each of whom possess their own unique style.
Pooling their talents together, these musical masters created a new showcase, combining Yanni’s classic compositions with the innovative imagery of original lyrics and the exhilaration of youthful new talent.
• Nathan Pacheco is said to have a voice that can move people to tears. Once combined with Yanni’s music, Pacheco’s lyrics, which are written in Italian, create a new kind of magic
• Chloe, a child prodigy in dance, is also a classical music diva who’s rich and versatile vocals allow her to capture the essence of the music she performs. Her youthful energy only adds to the intense emotion of her compositions
• Latin sensation Ender Thomas offers a fiery style of performance to the project. Writing in his native Spanish, Thomas taps into his sensual Latin roots to bring intense and soulful performances to the broadcast
• Leslie Mills possesses an intricate writing style and stunning vocal abilities. Her poetic songs, delivered in a striking and distinct style, open a doorway for the listener to experience genuine, heartfelt emotion

Two years in the making, the hour-long program also features a behind-the-scenes preview of the music from the new Yanni: Voices CD and highlights the energy and mood of each artist’s work with the seasoned composer.

• Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
