Tower Maintenance Will Interrupt ETV and ETV Radio Broadcasts

Columbia, SC...Effective Monday, Mar. 24 through Thursday, Mar. 27, Charleston-area ETV and ETV Radio transmissions will be interrupted due to periodic tower maintenance ordered by the property owner. The outage, which will occur from approximately 8 a.m. to
7 p.m. each day, will affect WITV, WITV-DT, and WSCI-FM stations.
"We deeply regret any inconvenience our viewers may experience during this time as we abide by FCC regulations that dictate that the tower be shut down while performing maintenance work. Understandably, we want to ensure the safety of the crew," said ETV’s Vice President of Communications, Catherine Christman. "We will do everything in our power to get services restored as quickly as possible."
