S.C. Legislature Live on TV and Online

South Carolina ETV will keep viewers well-informed in all things legislative via daily live coverage of House and Senate sessions, an interview with Sen. Lindsey Graham on The Big Picture, and coverage of Gov. Nikki Haley’s 2013 State of the State Address.
State House Today on ETV World will provide live gavel-to-gavel legislative coverage beginning January 8 and running until the end of the South Carolina 120th General Assembly. The scheduled times, which are subject to change depending on the will of the General Assembly, are:
Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. – Adjournment
Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. – Adjournment
Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – Adjournment
Viewers also have the option of watching live streaming of the proceedings in the South Carolina House of Representatives and Senate online at: http://www.scetv.org/index.php/statehouse/.
This Week in the Senate, hosted by Lt. Gov. Glenn McConnell, offers comprehensive discussions of each week’s issues at hand. The program kicks-off for 2013 on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30 a.m. on ETV World, with guests Majority Leader Sen. Harvey S. Peeler, Jr. and Minority Leader Sen. Nikki G. Setzler.
Senator Lindsey Graham is scheduled to appear on The Big Picture, January 10 at 7:30 p.m. on ETV to discuss the politics of D.C. and his 2014 re-election campaign.
ETV will provide coverage of Gov. Nikki Haley’s 2013 State of the State Address to all commercial television stations, home viewers, and ETV Radio listeners on January 16 at 7:00 p.m.
The Big Picture: Legislative Preview 2013 on January 24 at 7:30 p.m. on ETV will include interviews with leaders from both the House and Senate about the upcoming legislative sessions, key issues that will receive the most attention, and a recap of Gov. Haley’s State of the State Address.
