Rose Rock’s Rules on ETV’s Connections

Columbia, SC…On Friday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m., ETV’s Connections features the maternal wisdom of Rose Rock, mother of comedian Chris Rock. The 30-minute episode, entitled Old School/New School Parenting, features candid conversations with Rock and other moms about parenting in the 21st century. An encore presentation airs on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 12:30 p.m.
Host P.A. Bennett also talks with the straightforward Mama Rock about her book Mama Rock’s Rules: Ten Rules for Raising a Houseful of Successful Children. During this segment, the pair chat about Rock’s three rules of parenting as well as chapters from the book including:
• Push “Unable” Off the Table
• Don’t Lie Down with Anything You Don’t Want to Live With Forever
• I Am Your Mama, Not Your Friend
Connections is ETV’s weekly public affairs program and online discussion about issues that affect the South Carolina minority population.
