May 9th Proclaimed "ETV Day" in Bluffton
ETV's Lowcountry Road Show Coming Soon to Bluffton

Columbia, SC...As the ETV Road Show continues its travels through the culturally diverse Lowcountry, Mayor Henry “Hank” Johnston proclaims May 9 “ETV Day” in Bluffton. The live broadcast of this special proclamation begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 5 from the Sea Pines Golf Resort in Hilton Head Island. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The ETV Road Show brings a unique variety of live events, including programming on television and radio, as well as educational activities aimed at highlighting Bluffton to the rest of South Carolina and surrounding states.
ETV will be in the Lowcountry May 4-10 visiting and showcasing other communities, including Hilton Head Island, Walterboro, Beaufort, Ridgeland and Hampton.
The Road Show spotlights Bluffton on Tuesday, May 9. Events will include:
Clifford the Big Red Dog who will be meeting and greeting all of his young fans at the Bluffton Branch of the Beaufort County Library, 120 Palmetto Way from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
LIVE BROADCASTS
12 – 1 p.m. Your Day Broadcast on ETV
This live broadcast from the Palmetto Bluff Village explores the extensive forest preserves and miles of wooded trails. F. Brian Smith, Clemson Extension horticulturist, will discuss hearty plants in the Lowcountry and landscaping in developed communities.
4 – 5 p.m. Making It Grow! Broadcast on ETV
Live from Palmetto Bluff Village, this broadcast focuses on gardening topics and helpful tips.
7 – 8 p.m. Making It Grow! Broadcast ETV/ETV’s SC Channel
This is a special encore presentation of Making It Grow! from Palmetto Bluff Village.
In the Lowcountry region, ETV is carried by WJWJ-TV, channel 16; WITV-TV, channel 7, and ETV Radio by WJWJ (89.9 FM). The South Carolina Channel is ETV’s digital broadcast service committed to airing events and programs of interest to those in the Palmetto State and surrounding areas.
