In Radio Interview on ETV Radio in South Carolina Rudy Giuliani Stands By His Man Joe Torre

Columbia SC... In a radio interview conducted Friday on ETV Radio in South Carolina, former New York Mayor, and inveterate NY Yankees fan, Rudolph Giuliani was asked to give his thoughts on the future of Yankee manager Joe Torre--particularly in light of current position, nine-and-a-half games out of first place.

As soon as Giuliani got on the line, Andrew Gobeil, the host of " The Big Picture on the Radio," who is a lifelong Red Sox fan, couldn't wait to ask an all-important question of the presidential candidate.

Gobeil: "Should Joe Torre remain in position, or what?"

Giuliani: "Joe Torre is a great manager. I think even Red Sox fans would recognize that Joe is a great manager. He still has four World Series rings..."

The Big Picture on the Radio can be heard Fridays at 9 a.m. on ETV Radio's four news formats: 88.1-WRJA Sumter, 89.1-WLJK Aiken, 89.9- WJWJ Beaufort, and 90.1-WHMC Conway. The program can also be streamed from www.myetv.org.

The Big Picture can be seen on ETV Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., with encore presentations on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m.
