ETV's South Carolina Channel to Provide Coverage of Meeting Between John Rainey and Thomas Ravenel

Columbia, SC... Beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, ETV's digital broadcast service, the South Carolina Channel will offer live coverage of the meeting between Board of Economic Advisers Chairman John Rainey and the Republican candidate for State Treasurer, Thomas Ravenel. The meeting will also be streamed on the Web by clicking here.
Last week, Ravenel agreed to meet with Rainey at the Wade Hampton Building in Columbia to discuss their differences over the state of South Carolina’s finances. The two gentlemen, who have disagreed over the amount of unfunded liability for the state’s pension system, will make their respective cases.
John Rainey serves in an ex-officio capacity on the ETV Endowment Board.
