ETV’s Road Show 10th Edition Rolls into Lee County for Garden Day and "MayFest 2008!"
Live Broadcasts Slated for Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21

Columbia, SC...On Tuesday, May 20, ETV’s Road Show 10th Edition presents Garden Day with live radio and television broadcasts from the home of topiary artist Pearl Fryar.
Then, on Wednesday, May 21, the fun continues as the Road Show broadcasts from downtown Main Street where "MayFest 2008!" promises plenty of music, food and fun for the entire family. Festival-goers of all ages can meet and greet Clifford the Big Red Dog from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., as well as see the vehicle that was recently mauled by the Lizard Man! The event will be held from 12 noon until 9 p.m.
The ETV Road Show is an exciting array of live events, including programming on television and radio, as well as educational activities aimed at spotlighting Lee County to the rest of South Carolina and surrounding states.
ETV will be highlighting this region of the Palmetto State from May 19-23 visiting and showcasing other communities, including those in Kershaw, Clarendon, and Sumter counties.

LIVE BROADCASTS:
12 - 1 p.m. Your Day Broadcast on ETV and ETV Radio
This broadcast features conversations with Lee County citizens and community leaders on a variety of topics including economic development, the performing arts, and culinary trends. Live music from local musicians complements the broadcast.
3 - 4 p.m. Your Day Extra Broadcast on ETV Radio
This program spotlights citizens and community leaders who present interesting and fun facts about Bishopville and surrounding communities.
4 - 5 p.m. Making It Grow!
This Road Show Edition of "Making It Grow!" highlights the incredible topiary works of Pearl Fryar at his home in Bishopville. The program will rebroadcast the same day at 7 p.m.

Children’s Events:
Clifford the Big Red Dog will be meeting and greeting his young friends at the Lee County Public Library from 10 a.m. until noon. The library is located at 200 North Main Street in Bishopville. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras to capture the excitement.

12 - 1 p.m. Your Day Broadcast on ETV and ETV Radio
Engages in interesting conversation with Lee County citizens and community leaders on a number of topics that include the arts, community development and culinary trends. Live music from local musicians complements the broadcast.
3 - 4 p.m. Your Day Extra Broadcast on ETV Radio
This program continues discussions with citizens and community leaders who share little-known facts about Bishopville and area towns.
4 - 5 p.m. Your Day
This edition of Your Day talks with Lee County citizens and community leaders about subjects that include the arts, community development and culinary trends.
7 - 8 p.m. ETV Road Show Broadcast on ETV/ETV SC Channel
Highlights include live and taped segments that feature downtown Bishopville, The Cotton Museum, the Lizard Man, Lee County State Park, the "Button King," an alpaca farm, and more. Encore presentation airs on Sunday, May 25 at 3:30 p.m.
8:30 p.m. Pearl Fryar: 145 Broad Acres Road
This 30-minute documentary takes a look at the life and art of topiary master Pearl Fryar.

Saturday, May 24
8 p.m. - Victory by Valor looks at Shaw Air Force Base, the home of the largest combat F-16 wing in the U.S.
8:30 p.m. - Sunrise at Gum Swamp: The Battle of Camden is a history of this Revolutionary War battle, where British General Cornwallis soundly defeated American General Gates.
11 p.m. - Bluegrass Express features the music of Scape Ore Bluegrass Company.
Viewers in South Carolina can tune into ETV on WRLK-TV, channel 35, WRJA, channel 27 and ETV Radio on WLTR (91.3 FM). The South Carolina Channel is ETV’s digital broadcast service committed to airing events and programs of interest to those in the Palmetto State and surrounding areas. Viewers should contact their local cable company for availability of the South Carolina Channel.
