ETV Ushers in the Holidays with the 40th Annual Governor's Carolighting

The Governor's Celebration of the Season Airs Sunday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m.

Columbia, SC...On Sunday, Nov. 26, ETV rings in the holidays with statewide coverage of the 40th Annual Governor’s Carolighting. The program airs LIVE from the State House steps beginning at 6 p.m., with an encore broadcast on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 10 p.m.

This time-honored tradition marks the official start of the yuletide season in South Carolina with the lighting of the State's Christmas tree. The program features young musicians from every corner of the Palmetto State.  Performances this year include selections from:

• The Governor's All-Star High School Chorus and Band
• The USC Trumpet Choir
• The Palmetto Mastersingers
• The Carolighting Children's Choir
• The Handbell Choir
