Columbia, SC...ETV to Provide In-Depth Legislative Coverage

Columbia, SC...As the South Carolina General Assembly convenes, ETV is there to bring viewers complete coverage, including weekly analyses of the top issues.

During the 2010 legislative season, ETV World will air State House Today, which provides gavel-to-gavel coverage of the House and Senate proceedings.

State House Today will air on the following schedule:

Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m.– 1:30 p.m.
Wednesdays from 10 a.m.– 3 p.m.
Thursdays from 9:30 a.m.– 12 p.m.

For more comprehensive discussions on the issues of the day, viewers can also look to ETV World for This Week in the House, hosted by House Speaker Bobby Harrell and This Week in the Senate, hosted by Senator Glenn McConnell.

This Week in the House airs every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m.
This Week in the Senate airs every Thursday from 9:30 a.m.– 10 a.m.

Then, on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m., ETV presents LIVE coverage of Governor Sanford’s State of the State Address. Broadcast from the House Chambers of the State House, the speech is expected to include Governor Sanford’s plans for the upcoming legislative season.
