Columbia, SC...This holiday season, ETV brings the genius of jazz virtuoso Wynton Marsalis and award-winning luminaries Glenn Close and S. Epatha Merkerson of “Law and Order,” to viewers across the Palmetto State.

On Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m., LIVE From Lincoln Center presents “Jazz @ Lincoln Center: Red Hot Holiday Stomp.”  This annual concert is a memorable evening of toe-tapping music and storytelling.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress Glenn Close, the program also features the broadcast premiere of “Music, Deep Rivers in My Soul,” a collaboration between Marsalis and Maya Angelou, which will be read by multiple award-winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson of “Law & Order.”  The arrangement was inspired by an original poem by the celebrated poet.

Also appearing with Marsalis in the two-hour-long Big Easy-style celebration are Wycliffe “Pinecone” Gordon, Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson, Victor Goines, Joe Temperley, “Papa” Don Vappie, Reginald Veal, Dan Nimmer and Herlin Riley.
