ETV to Broadcast Governor’s Inaugural Ceremony and State of the State Address

Inaugural Day Festivities to Air Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. State of the State Address to Air Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.

Columbia, SC...On Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m., ETV will provide LIVE statewide coverage of Governor Mark Sanford’s Inaugural Ceremony.  During this broadcast from the south steps of the State House, Governor Sanford will be sworn in as only the third two-term governor in state history.  This special presentation includes footage from the Inaugural Prayer Service to be held earlier that morning at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.

Then on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m., ETV and ETV Radio will offer LIVE coverage of Governor Sanford’s State of the State Address.  Broadcast from the House Chambers of the State House, the speech is expected to include Governor Sanford’s plans for the upcoming legislative season.
