ETV Spotlights Rock Music’s Royalty

Columbia, SC…On Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m., ETV will air Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a collection of 10 unique performances culled from a 24-year span of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. Paul Shaffer, the multi-talented musical director for “The Late Show with David Letterman” hosts this presentation.
The biggest names in rock perform in intimate settings and jam in combinations not seen anywhere else. The program features exclusive anything-goes induction speeches by rock royalty, along with rare behind-the-scenes footage. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame wows viewers with 10 thrilling performances, including:
• An electrifying performance of “Black Magic Woman” with Carlos Santana and Peter Green
• Jackson Browne cranking up an old school jam session with his 1977 hit “Running on Empty”
• An all-star tribute to George Harrison with Tom Petty, Steve Winwood and Jeff Lynne performing “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” culminating in an electrifying guitar solo by Prince
Wrapping up the evening is an emotional finale of “Let it Be” featuring Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Robbie Robertson, Dion, Billy Joel and others.
