Columbia SC… There is more than love in the air as spring comes to South Carolina.  Hastening the end of the cold, dreary weather, ETV fills the airwaves with the sounds of some of music’s biggest legends that are sure to warm the hearts of viewers across the Palmetto State.  With everything from Doo-Wop to Bluegrass to classic opera and pop, ETV brings some incredible performances that will have folks shaking off those winter blues.

It all starts on Saturday, March 4 at 6 p.m. with My Music: Moments to Remember.  Patti Page, Nick Clooney, Peter Marshall, Wink Martindale and the Lawrence Welk Show’s Mary Lou Metzger co-host all new performances and archival classics from the late 1950s and early ‘60s pop era.  Frankie Laine comes out of retirement to sing “That’s My Desire,” and Italian crooner Julius LaRosa performs his classics “Eh Compare” and “Domani.”  Many legends of the period, including Roger Williams, Lenny Welch, the Platters and DeCastro Sisters, return to the stage to sing their greatest hits.  Archival performances from Rosemary Clooney, Perry Como and Nat King Cole round out this sequel in the ‘50s pop story.  An encore presentation airs Sunday, March 12 at 8 p.m.

Following My Music is a historic night for music fans with The Four Tops 50th Anniversary Celebration on March 4 at 8:30 p.m.  Friends and peers join the Four Tops as they celebrate 50 years in the entertainment industry with an all-star concert at the famed Detroit Opera House.  Hosted by Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson, the specials feature the Four Tops performing hit after hit.  The program will repeat on Thursday, March 9 at 8 p.m.

Filmed before a rapturous audience in her native state of Missouri, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage: Ragin’ Live captures Bluegrass sensation Rhonda Vincent and her band, The Rage, at their dynamic full-throttle best.  Six-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Award for Best Female Vocalist, Vincent makes music sparkle with hard-driving instrumental breaks, soaring vocal harmonies and a heartfelt intensity that is entirely her own.  Rhonda Vincent and The Rage: Ragin’ Live airs on Wednesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 12 at 10:30 p.m.

uscan-born tenor Andrea Bocelli set the standard for “crossover” classical tenors when he first enthralled American viewers with his moving melodies and passionate performance in a 1997 special that aired on ETV.  Bocelli has since become one of the most famous and beloved singers in the world and continues to seduce audiences everywhere in a new Great Performances concert.  Andrea Bocelli: Amore Under the Desert Sky was recorded in Lake Las Vegas from a concert venue that literally floats on the resort’s signature 320-acre lake.  Bocelli performs songs from his forthcoming album, Amore, and is featured in duets with 2001 Tony-award winner Heather Headley (Elton John’s Aida).  Andrea Bocelli: Amore Under the Desert Sky airs Wednesday, March 8 at 8:30 p.m. with an encore presentation on Monday, March 13 at 9 p.m.
