The Spoleto Festival USA returns to Charleston this month and ETV Radio brings listeners the highlights on SPOLETO TODAY, weekdays May 22 – June 6 at 9:00 a.m. on all ETV Radio services.

Co-hosts Marcus Overton and Jeanette Guinn report daily on the latest happenings, with guest interviews and previews of performances.

"As Spoleto Today celebrates its 20th season on the air, our aim, our mission, is the same as it always has been: to help listeners experience the festival first-hand, even when they may not be able to come to Charleston in person, and to highlight the amazing variety and depth of both Spoleto Festival USA and Piccolo Spoleto in ways that enable both Charlestonians and visitors to enhance their in-person encounters with the performances," said Overton. "Our success over these past two decades has rested upon unceasing support from ETV management and staff, as well as both Spoleto Festival USA and Piccolo Spoleto.  Finally, we wouldn't be here without the constant support and feedback from ETV listeners, who are, I think, the best audiences in the world!"

Guinn added "Charleston is a magical place during Spoleto and Piccolo. I feel lucky to share a peek behind the curtains with ETV Radio audiences."

Spoleto Festival USA highlights this year include the opera Kat'a Kabanova, a play based on the novel My Cousin Rachel, tap troupe Dorrance Dance, and the popular Chamber Music concerts.
