ETV Honors Life of Commentator and "Firing Line" Host William F. Buckley, Jr.

Renowned Journalist Profiled on Friday, Feb. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Columbia, S.C…William F. Buckley, Jr., the conservative commentator and host of "Firing Line" died Wednesday morning.

ETV remembers Buckley on Friday, Feb. 29 at 7:30 p.m. with a special broadcast of "Profile: William F. Buckley." Produced in 1975, this 30-minute program, hosted by Jim Welch, features conversations with Buckley from his South Carolina home in Camden.

Additionally, several episodes of "Firing Line" featuring the late Gov. Carroll Campbell, President Reagan and Sen. John McCain can be streamed on ETV's Web site at www.myetv.org.

"Firing Line" was brought to public television and presented nationally by ETV in 1971 and ran until 1999.
