ETV Broadcasts LIVE from "2007 Charlotte Shout Culinary Arts Experience"
Programs from Eco-Friendly Culinary Arts Festival Air Statewide Sept. 28-30

Columbia, SC...Beginning Friday, Sept. 28, ETV will broadcast LIVE from the 2007 Charlotte Shout Culinary Arts Experience in the heart of downtown Charlotte, NC.
ETV takes viewers inside Charlotte's premiere culinary and entertainment festival with lively interviews from cooking's elite such as Food Network's Alton Brown, PBS' Martin Yan(Yan Can Cook), Sarah Snow of Get Fresh with Sara Snow and Charlotte native and Top Chef personality Sam Talbot--who, by the way, was voted one of New York's sexiest chefs.
Not only is ETV whipping up a good time at this annual celebration of food, but cooking enthusiasts will also hear from Darlene Heater, director of programs and events for Charlotte Center City Partners, about the festival's "go green" initiative, which includes the use of solar powered generators for the central cooking stage.
ETV's festival broadcast lineup:
- Friday, September 28 at 8 p.m.
Viewers will see live and taped segments that feature interviews and cooking demonstrations from Michelle Bernstein of Food Network's Melting Pot, a visit toCharlotte'sBlues, Brews & BBQ festival as well as a trip down memory lane for a look at last year's celebration. Live music from Charlotte-based house band Hot Sauce complements this broadcast. - Saturday, September 29 at 8 p.m.
During this show, live and taped segments spotlight renowned chef Alton Brown of Food Network's Good Eats, the fun-filled Kids Kitchen with celebrity chefs, and the ever-popular Clash of the Culinary Titans. Live music from Hot Sauce rounds out the evening's festivities.
ETV wraps up its coverage of the 2007 Culinary Arts Experience with the Charlotte Shout Festival Overview. Hosted by Moira Quinn, senior vice president of communications at Charlotte Center City Partners, this broadcast takes a look at what makes the well-oiled Charlotte Shout machine run, including segments that highlightprevious events from the month-long celebration such asthe Cultural Free-For-All, Gospel Shout and more. The program airs Sunday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
