Senators McCain and Obama's First Joint Appearance to Air Live on ETV September 11 from 8-10 p.m.

Columbia, SC…ETV will broadcast VOTE ’08: A PRESIDENTIAL FORUM, a live discussion with presidential nominees Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, on Thursday, September 11 from 8-10 p.m.
Senators McCain and Obama – who will appear separately – will discuss their views and personal experiences with serving their community and the country. These back-to-back, in-depth interviews will take place in front of a live audience at Columbia University as part of the “ServiceNation Presidential Candidates Forum.”
PBS’s NewsHour Senior Correspondent Judy Woodruff and Time managing editor Richard Stengel will co-moderate and question McCain and Obama.

In their first joint appearance since the party conventions, McCain and Obama will discuss in-depth their views on service and civic engagement in the post-9/11, post-Katrina world. Their conversations will take place before a live audience of September 11 family members, military veterans, thought leaders, and Columbia University students. New York Governor David Paterson will welcome the audience before the start of the event.
