Dr. Wayne Dyer Returns to ETV to Inspire Viewers to Follow Their "Ultimate Calling"

For Immediate Release
February 22, 2006

Columbia, SC… Dr. Wayne Dyer, a popular spiritual guide and mentor, returns to ETV airwaves in March to share six remarkable and visionary steps for living an inspired life.  Dr. Wayne Dyer: Inspiration —Your Ultimate Calling, airs on Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m., with an encore presentation on Thursday, March 16 at 8 p.m.

Everyone was born for a reason, Dyer says.  In this program, he helps viewers understand and acknowledge what that purpose is. He provides specific examples of ways to recognize each person’s ultimate calling, and shows viewers how to start living a better life today.

Dyer begins by laying the foundation for an inspired life, explaining the difference between motivation and inspiration. He also explains that everyone is eligible to live an inspired life — one doesn’t have to be a Mozart or an Einstein.

“Inspiration can be cultivated and be a driving enthusiasm throughout life — rather than showing up every now and then and just as mysteriously disappearing, seemingly independent of our desire,” explains Dyer. “It isn’t reserved for high-profile creative geniuses in the arts and sciences. … Inspiration is for everyone!”

This presentation is the most personal in Dyer’s 35 years as an author and lecturer. With the help of four specials guests whose noble actions have personally inspired him, Dyer engages viewers through laughter, love and insight.  Guests include:

  • Ryan Hreljac, a student who has raised more than $70,000 for clean water and school-related projects in Africa
  • Gayle Beale, a woman who listened to her dreams and persevered to adopt a young Kenyan orphan
  • Immaculee Ilibagiza, a young Tutsi woman who survived the 1994 genocide in Rwanda
  • Hazel Dyer, Dyer’s 89-year-old mother who shares the spotlight for the first time with her son
