WHO: Raggs airs on ETV Kids weekdays at 3:30 p.m. This NEW TV series, designed for 3-to-6 year-olds, airs on PBS stations nationwide. The stars? Five colorful canines and their sidekick--a wisecracking pet cat named Dumpster. Raggs, the lead singer, and his bandmates--Trilby, Pido and Razzles rock the house while their keyboard player, B. Max, raises the roof with his patented riffs. And their crib is jumpin' in one very cool clubhouse.

WHAT: "Dancing with the Stars" has gone to the dogs and it's coming to South Carolina. The Raggs Band will be in town to host a free, live, high-energy, 20-minute, interactive "Dance Party" concert for the kids. The five characters perform 10 of their "hit" songs while the emcee teaches children simple dance movements to join in the fun--eat your heart out, Joey Fatone.

During each live concert, two lucky youngsters will have the opportunity to join the band on stage for a rousing rendition of a Raggs Band song, and then go home with prizes. Parents can register children at the Customer Service Center in the five malls where the band will be appearing, or see the “Be A Star ad in the July edition of their local parent magazine (Upstate Parent, Palmetto Parent, Lowcountry Parent). Characters will be available for pictures and hugs after each concert. Free Raggs DVDs will be given out while supplies last.

PHOTO OP: The event is free and open to the public. Grandparents and cameras welcome. Catch some great action shots of kids and colorful dogs showing off their ability to wag and wiggle. Kids? Colorful dog characters? Enough said.
