Charleston Home Featured Nationally in ETV Broadcast of "Ask This Old House"

For Immediate Release
December 10, 2008

In September, the crew from the nationally-renowned home improvement series Ask This Old House traveled to the Holy City to help Charleston resident Wendy Green with a lawn and garden repair project. The program that features this segment airs on ETV, Saturday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. and again at 4 p.m.

During their first visit to South Carolina, landscape contractor Roger Cook and his crew took on the task of fixing a drooping wooden fence. Also featured in this episode are tips about ways to insulate your house and replace windows -- simple repairs that save do-it-yourselfers time and money.

South Carolina ETV is the state's public educational broadcasting network with 11 television and eight radio transmitters, and a multi-media educational system in more than 2,500 schools, colleges, businesses and government agencies.
