ETV Kids Announces Appearance by Dooley from "The Dooley and Pals Show" at the Fourteenth Annual Kids Day Columbia Event in Finlay Park on Sat., April 1

Columbia, SC...ETV Kids presents three opportunities for children to meet one of their favorite television characters, Dooley, as part of the fun-filled Kids Day Columbia celebration on Sat., April 1 in Finlay Park.  Dooley, who is the loveable alien from a star far, far away and host of The Dooley and Pals Show on ETV, will meet and greet children during three scheduled appearances on the Main Stage at:

• 11:30 a.m.  - Noon
• 1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m.
• 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Families are encouraged to come early, bring their cameras and enter the drawing at the ETV Tent for a Dooley doll and CD.  Free coloring books and bags, featuring Dooley, will be distributed to the children, while supplies last.  ETV’s "resident clown," Joyful Heart, will also be on hand throughout the day performing various magic tricks for the children.  For more information, visit www.etvkids.org.

The event is open to the public and free of admission. 

The Dooley and Pals Show is featured on the ETV Kids line-up as public television’s contribution toward one of our nation’s most urgent educational goals: Ensuring that all children begin school ready to learn. The Dooley and Pals Show airs Monday through Friday at 7:30 a.m. and also at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.
