Dear Viewers and Listeners:
It’s a brand new year, and ETV and ETV Radio have lots of exciting new ventures planned for 2014.
The S.C. Legislature returns to Columbia this month, and ETV cameras bring viewers gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Senate and House sessions on State House Today. This coverage airs on ETV World. Other public affairs specials that ETV offers this month are The State of the State address and The State of the Union address.
The fourth season of the hugely popular Masterpiece Classic, Downton Abbey, premieres this month. Viewers have been anxiously waiting to see the consequences of last season’s shocking finale and they won’t be disappointed as the new season gets underway—complete with rivalries, romance, betrayals, new arrivals and hasty departures.
ETV Radio brings a new season of Song Travels with Michael Feinstein to the nation this month. Host Feinstein welcomes an array of musical guests, ranging from Bobby McFerrin to John Proulx to the irrepressible Elaine Stritch.
In the education arena, ETV begins a new periodic series, Education Insight. The debut program takes a helpful look at Making College Affordable, with experts live in our studios ready to answer viewers’ questions, which may be submitted through email or on the website: www.scetv.org/americangraduate.
And last, but certainly not least, our entire Columbia staff has finally settled into one building on George Rogers Boulevard, where our studios and ETV Radio are housed. We are excited to be under one roof. Our new address is 1041 George Rogers Boulevard.
Thank you for all of your valued support in 2013, here’s to even more inspiring programming in 2014!
