Dear Viewers and Listeners:

Happy New Year! SCETV and ETV Radio have lots planned for 2015, and this month we’re diving right in!

First up, ETV cameras return to the S.C. State House to bring viewers gavel-to-gavel coverage of Legislative proceedings—both Senate and House sessions—on State House Today. The broadcasts, airing on ETV World, begin January 13. Other public affairs specials that ETV offers this month are The State of the State and The State of the Union addresses.

The fifth season of the record-breaking Masterpiece Classic, Downton Abbey, premieres this month. The plot thickens this season, as viewers pick up the threads that were left dangling, and the acclaimed cast faces new morals, new inventions, and the fashions of the 1920s.
An SCETV Presents series, For Your Home, begins its 30th season this month. Design expert Vicki Payne continues to provide practical tips and inspiring ideas for homeowners and apartment dwellers alike.

The ETV education series, Carolina Classrooms, offers the annual special, Making College Affordable. This live, call-in program features experts in the studios who give advice on funds available for higher education; viewers may submit questions via e-mail to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or through ETV's web site at

Thank you for your loyal support in 2014; here’s to an enlightening and entertaining 2015!
