Dear Viewers and Listeners:

With the holiday season fast approaching, we at ETV would like to take this time to thank you for all of your gifts to us—all year long! With your unwavering support, we have been able to offer you exceptional TV and radio programming that we feel worthy of your viewing and listening time.

This past year has seen our state spotlighted through three Antiques Roadshow specials, taped at Myrtle Beach, as well as a variety of national offerings through SCETV Presents, which includes A Chef’s Life, For Your Home, and Adventists 2. ETV cameras cover the State House proceedings while in session, making transparency in government a reality. Preserving our state’s history through its citizens’ accomplishments, ETV’s Carolina Stories has produced in-depth specials on some of our exceptional native sons, as have our other series on S.C. veterans, Man and Moment and South Carolinians in WWII. Our award-winning gardening series Making It Grow! celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. And just recently we have begun a new weekly series, Palmetto Scene, which focuses the camera lens on our wonderful state and its many unique characteristics.

ETV Radio has continued to grow its national presence with Song Travels with Michael Feinstein, Chamber Music from Spoleto Festival, and World of Opera, co-produced with WDAV. We lost the venerable host of our original Piano Jazz series, Marian McPartland, who died in August at the age of 95. We are gratified that ETV Radio has developed an archival treasure trove of more than three decades of her award-winning series for future jazz aficionados.

These are just a few of the highlights from this past year that you have helped make possible. This month, we are celebrating our Decemberfest, so tune in to find a variety of entertaining music, drama, and self-improvement programs. Again, we thank you for your support of ETV and ETV Radio, and look forward to offering you more engaging programming in 2014!
