Dear Viewers and Listeners:
“SCETV Presents” has a long history of providing enlightening presentations and co-productions to the nation, and this month we are making significant inroads with new and continuing program offerings. Amy Shumaker, who leads our national television efforts, has assembled a great group of programs and series for SCETV Presents. Here are some examples:
The Adventists 2. A sequel to the award-winning The Adventists, this special follows journeys of Seventh-day Adventists and their commitment to global mission work.
A Chef’s Life. This character-driven documentary and cooking series goes inside the life of Chef Vivian Howard, who left Manhattan to open a restaurant in her hometown in North Carolina, using local ingredients for her inspired menus.
For Your Home. Designer, gardening and decorating expert Vicki Payne begins a new season of home improvement tips and step-by-step demonstrations to spruce up any indoor or outdoor living space.
Expeditions with Patrick McMillan. This series, a co-production with Clemson University, was offered nationwide in April 2013 and is continuing to gain viewers and garner accolades across the country!
And, we have more national presentations in the works, including the latest in our Man and Moment series, several selections from our Carolina Stories series, and the debut of Pride and Joy, a unique look at the people, places and food of the South.
On the radio side, Shari Hutchinson and her team continue to expand ETV Radio national offerings and their reach, including Song Travels with Michael Feinstein, Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz, World of Opera (a co-production with WDAV Classical Public Radio of Davidson College) and Chamber Music from Spoleto Festival USA.
So stay tuned as we continue to showcase our outstanding work and proudly share it with the nation.
