Native American regalia, traditional and contemporary, adds to the excitement and depth of a pow wow. Regalia is dress and other adornment that Native Americans wear at sacred, ceremonial, and festival occasions. Designs and materials on regalia may signify a wearer’s tribal, familial, political, or marital connections, or be symbolic of an important experience in the wearer’s life.
