Birds of Prey

The Avian Conservation Center’s Center for Birds of Prey is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and study of wild raptor populations. Events like Rural Heritage Day provide an opportunity to promote their work to save injured or abandoned birds and engage the public in issues affecting wild bird populations locally, nationally, and internationally.

In this video, Education Director Stephen Schabel introduces us to a few raptors the center has taken “under its wing” as a means to create awareness for birds of prey.
