Sean Flynn - Producer/Director

Behind the scenes for every Making it Grow! is Sean Flynn, the show's producer/director. Sean works for Clemson University to serve as the producer/director of all things MIG. As the director during the shows, he is in the control room at ETV Sumter choosing the shots for the show and talking with the engineers and camera crew through a head set. As the producer, he is in charge of content, the booking of guests, and is responsible for the overall look of the show.

Personal Hobbies: Include watching sports including playing the fantasy games associated with them. I like all sorts of TV shows and movies, mostly comedies. I also have a membership to the YMCA and go once in a while. I also enjoy playing with my daughters: 3 year old Ellie, who is mostly sweet and my 5 year old Delaney, who is always happy and sweet and was born with cerebral palsy.

Favorite Plant: A loropetalum I planted over ten years ago. This past summer was the first year I ever pruned because it was taking up most of the backyard. I removed the lower branches and now it is more like a little tree with a nice canopy and year-round color. Over the last few years, plants I have added are evergreen because I prefer the year-round color, and in my experience they have been easy to maintain. That reminds me of advice Rowland gave me, "it's your yard, do what you like" and "green is a color."
