In her spare time, Laurie Aker of Earth Fare enjoys sailing on Lake Murray and swimming! When she is not working with Earth Fare, much of her time is spent outdoors, either riding her bike on trails, walking her two dogs, Kaya and Jazzy, or playing paddleball at a local park.
Laurie’s favorite thing to cook? Italian food! Nothing beats fresh, homemade pasta with cheesy fillings! One day, Laurie hopes to visit her all-time favorite dream destination--Tuscany, Italy!
Laurie is excited to landscape her new yard and looks forward to planting some pomegranate trees! After all, pomegranates are her favorite fall snack! Laurie always looks forward to fall; it is her favorite part of the year! Laurie is originally from Buffalo, N.Y. so whenever there is a little chill in the air, it always brings back memories of her home town! Her favorite holiday? Halloween!
