David Shadoan, Volunteer
David Shadoan is another one of our fantastic volunteers with Making it Grow! David operates one of our cameras during the live show and will be doing that also at The Sumter South Carolina Special. Here is some information from David:
I work for the Sumter County IT Department. I've been in the IT industry for five years and enjoy working with and learning about multiple types of technology. I first started volunteering on MIG in January 2012 when my girlfriend, Lacey Taylor, put me behind a camera and said, "You're running camera tonight!" Since then, I have been able to meet many interesting people, work with different types of technology, and learn new things I never would have learned hadn't I been at MIG.
Favorite Plant: I like plants that match my personality...easy to work with. 
Favorite Gardening Memory: Since I live in an apartment and don't have a garden, all my gardening memories are of doing chores as a kid. So I can't say I have any fond memories of gardening.
