Al Newman, Graphic Designer
Al Newman has been creating the computer graphics for each Making it Grow! show, since soon after it started. He is the one who types in your name when you call in and the one who switches the graphic to the phone number or website, as needed. Al comes in just for Making It Grow! and is an integral part of the team.
Al worked as a facilities maintenance technician with Sears Holdings until 2011. His areas of expertise include Photoshop and other Adobe software, video production and post-production, editing, computer animation, music production and performance.
Al also has many hobbies including music, Bible, growing things, photography, cinematography, computers and electronics, websites, writing, archaeology, guitar, bass, and percussion. He has played in bands since high school, mostly classic rock. He currently plays with Chief Complaint, a local band comprised of mostly physicians in the Sumter area who play classic rock and original music.
