I have an Angel Trumpet that bloomed last year but this year it doesn't have any blooms at all. The bush is 5 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Any idea why its not blooming?? Thanks

Hello,
I have an emergency transpant to perform on 2 seven ft loropetalums. My plan is to cut them down to 3 ft and take as much root as possible. I've been keeping them watered a couple days prior to the dig. I'm thinking that removing most of the leaves will help the plant from thirsting to death, but i'm worried that they won't harden off before cold weather. Any advise would be appreciated.
