I have met Mr. Farmer and he is truly a gentleman and is very generous with his time and knowledge. My brother Gib and myself spent about 2 1/2 hrs with him recently. He talked about the old farming ways of life, while showing us around his place. This man is now 89 but moves like a 49 yr old. He makes his own cornmeal, molasses, has a saw mill, plows his 2 belgian horses, has a big garden that he tends, makes harnesses, makes wagon wheels, makes wagons, does craft work and on and on. Not many around like him anymore. This modern world has passed Mr. Farmer on by but I'm sure he wouldn't have it any other way.
