On your 3/1/11 show, you showed how to get rid of clumps of weed by using a paint roller sprayed with something, rolling it on the weeds. Can you tell me what solution to use? Thank you for your help.

How can I get my daffodils to bloom? They used to when I first put them out, but now all I seem to get is green leaves and very few blooms.

I have a problem with squirrels eating all the buds on my pear tree. This has happened last year and again this year. Is there any way I can prevent them from doing this? This is a canning pear tree that used to produce wonderful large pears, but lately essentially none. The few that set on the squirrels eat before they mature.

Hi! I learned very quickly that I do not have a "green thumb" when taking on my first gardening project. I planted Gerber Daisies in the ground between the brick walkway and the house (this area gets about 50/50 sunlight). After a few weeks, not only had the Gerber Daisies died, but weeds won't even grow there now!? (Whoops!? smile
