Joye Cottage
Originally built as a farmhouse in the 1800s, Joye Cottage is now a 60-room mansion located in beautiful Aiken, South Carolina. Personally owned by Steven Naifeh and Gregory Smith, both Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, the home has seen many renovations to preserve its history. Questions regarding its future use and care led to a partnership with Juilliard, which now promotes art in the community through the festival, Juilliard in Aiken.
