Joye Cottage

Originally built as a farmhouse in the 1800s, Joye Cottage is now a 60-room mansion located in beautiful Aiken, South Carolina. Personally owned by Steven Naifeh and Gregory Smith, both Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, the home has seen many renovations to preserve its history. Questions regarding its future use and care led to a partnership with Juilliard, which now promotes art in the community through the festival, Juilliard in Aiken. The 2013 Juilliard in Aiken Festival will take place March 9th through March 15th. Can't see the video? Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/ue-QuOu_MFg
